Gawhar Mulk Hisabi (Jahandari)

Gawhar Mulk, born in 1899 or 1900, was the fifth child of Baygum Khanum, the daughter of Mirza Mahmud Vazir (Mustawfi), and Sayyid Mir Ahmad Hisabi. She studied at the Saint Joseph School in Tehran and married Sardar ʻAli Mirza Jahandari at fourteen. They had six children: Jahandar Mirza, Farrukh Malik, Mihrdad Mirza, Faridah, Haydar Mirza, and Khusraw Mirza. The family of Gawhar Mulk's husband first chose Biyabani as their surname, but later changed it to Jahandari.
