ʻAlamtaj Mukri (Saniʻ al-Muluk)
ʻAlamtaj Mukri (1917-1984), the daughter of Zaynab Fattahi and Muhammad Taqi Mukri, was born in Tehran. At the age of sixteen she married Murtaza Lajavardi and they had three children: Parivash, Munirah, and ʻAli Akbar. ʻAlamtaj studied up to the ninth grade and knew some German. She had good handwriting and had several craft skills. Some of her works are in the Lajavardi Collection.
