Maryam Mustawfi Ardalan (Fakhr al-Saltanah)

Maryam Ardalan Mustawfi, the daughter of ‘Abbasah Qajar (Shahzadah Valiyah) and Abu al-Hasan Ardalan (Fakhr al-Mulk), was born in 1893. She married ‘Abd Allah Mustawfi in 1912. They had three daughters and two sons: Nasr Allah Mustawfi (b. 17 August 1914), Mihrvash Safiniya (b. 24 April 1917), Baqir Mustawfi (b. 27 March 1918), Hurvash Mustawfi Muqaddam (b. 8 August 1920), and Nayyirah Mustawfi (b. 25 February 1925). Maryam Ardalan Mustawfi worked with the Red Lion and Sun society from its early years and was an active member. She died on 28 April 1963.

Maryam Ardalan Mustawfi, daughter of Abu al-Hasan Ardalan and ‘Abbasah Qajar (Shahzadah Valiyah), was born in 1893. She married ʻAbd Allah Mustawfi in 1912. They had two sons and three daughters: Nasr Allah Mustawfi (b. 17 Aug 1914), Mihrvash Safi Niya (b. 24 April 1917), Baqir Mustawfi (b. 27 March 1918), Hurvash Mustawfi Muqaddam (b. 8 August 1920), and Nayyirah Mustawfi (b. 25 February 1925). Maryam Ardalan Mustawfi worked with the Red Lion and Sun society from its early years and was an active member. On its behalf, she made several trips to Europe and the United States and received medals from the Red Cross in Turkey, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France, and England. From 1932, Maryam Ardalan spent most of her time in the orphanages and hospitals run by the Red Lion and Sun. She died on 28 April 1963. Close
